About us

Since its foundation in 2005, Batenburg IAS has grown into an innovative company that specializes in the design and implementation of automation systems for industry and infrastructure technology. We have started to focus on industrial automation. We realized that there was a gap in the market, especially in the food industry. A large part of our relations turned out not to have a good permanent automation partner (anymore).

In 2006 we decided to develop Batenburg IAS into a mature company because the market reacted very enthusiastically to our approach. It turned out that the in-depth knowledge of the systems and processes, the customer treatment  and the solutions delivered were different from the competition, which led to the award of the designation “Certified Premium Partner” by ABB. Partly due to the partnership with ABB, we have grown steadily, which has given us more and more opportunities in public tenders for projects at, among others, water boards. There too, it turned out that we were distinctive compared to our competitors. This distinction focuses in particular on the quality of the solutions we provide and the associated attention to the customer.

By making our unique process knowledge and resources available, we support our customers in the optimal design of their production and logistics processes and thus make a significant contribution to the realization of our customers' business objectives.

Vision

The world around us is becoming more complex and faster. Customers are becoming more demanding, competition is increasing and there is globalization and increasing economies of scale. This places increasing demands on the management of infrastructures and logistics flows. Smart technology in both hardware and software are becoming increasingly critical success factors for successful business operations.

Batenburg IAS will expand its position in Europe as a leading player in the field of industrial automation by attracting the best people in the industry and by developing the analysis and development intelligence.

Batenburg IAS has been part of Batenburg Techniek since 24 August 2015, but we have been familiar with making connections between electromechanical technology, industrial processes, (control) software, smart products and ultimately smarter companies for many years. Based on long-term customer relationships, we work with a creative problem-solving capacity and an energetic attitude to successful projects.
