Augmented Reality is the integration of digital information with the user's environment in real time. This can be very useful for operators in plants and factories. It can show the live status of a machine to the operator through his AR glasses or tablet.
We made our own Augmented Reality application to show you some examples. In our application the position of the tablet is determined by images, a text label or a QR code. The application will show live data from the unit when the camera of the tablet scans the corresponding card.
It is also possible to control your factory with Augmented Reality. In our example we start and stop a fan after clicking one of the corresponding virtual buttons. We see endless possibilities with the implementation of Augmented Reality in factories. The future is now!
